| "When I began training with Craig about two years ago, I had done very little exercising since my gastric bypass surgery in December of 2003, due to a long-standing problem with my knees. Craig was very patient with me, focusing on my balance and other functional exercises. In these last two years, I have gained at least 50% increase in my strength, and in some areas even as close as 100%. I can now do the leg press machine with very little pain. Craig has been a tremendous source of support and encouragement, for which I’m eternally grateful. He has always known when to push me to do more, and to what level (I guess I have this unique laugh that tells him when I’ve reached my limit on the reps). And he’s known when to support me at my current level (but not for long—not too much “doddling”).
